The WISB Research Technology Facility (RTF) is able to provide a scientific service and offer external users access to a suite of state-of-the-art research instruments, skills and expertise.  For more information, please contact the WISB Facility manager.  Services include:

High-throughput sceening

  • Antimicrobial screening:
    • High-throughput MIC hit detection
    • Synergy checkerboard screening
  • Design high-throughput protocols for your bespoke application

Flow cytometry and cell sorting

The following two instruments are available to be used by trained and approved personal as well as full service work.

  • BD LSRFortessa cell analyser
  • BD FACSAria Fusion cell sorter

Biophysical Investigations

We have 3 instruments available to investigate biomolecular interactions.

  • Biacore T200 – Surface Plasmon Resonance instrument
  • Monolith NT.115 – Microscale Thermophoresis
  • Isothermal Titration Calorimetry
